The Tamagotchi That Is Creativity

I cannot stress enough the importance of your research to your lasting creativity as artists and animators.  I have used the Tamagotchi as a device to try and help you to understand this... If you don't feed the tamagotchi of your imagination regularly with brain food, i.e. research, then your creativity wil shrivel up and die, all that you will be capable of producing is low rent knock offs of other people's work. If all that you have to go on is the contents of your own imagination then eventually you will start to self digest. Constant brainfood is the only way to keep the tamagotchi of your creativity alive and well...
